I'm Taylor. My parents gave my sister and me unisex names because they didn't want employers to be able to figure out our genders from our names alone. My pictures (and the general appearance of this site) may give that away. Sorry Mom and Dad.

I'm originally from Southern California, but have lived in Chicago for the past 4 years. After graduating from Cornell in 2012 (yes, I was in an a cappella group), I taught first grade on the south side of Chicago through Teach for America. From there, I entered the world of educational technology at eSpark Learning, a personalized learning start-up centered around iPad learning. Realizing my passion was more for tech and product than for sales, I began my journey toward becoming a developer with DevBootcamp.
